Harry Silsby, M.D., Medical Director
|
Dr. Silsby received his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine and completed his medical residency and psychiatric internship at Letterman Army Medical Center, Presidio of San Francisco, California. Dr. Silsby’s distinguished military career included tours in Vietnam and Germany and led to many awards for service. He retired from the Army at the rank of Colonel.
Dr. Silsby has served in many leadership roles throughout his career, including Chief of Clinical Operations for Charter Behavioral Health and Corporate Medical Director for Ardent Health Services. Dr. Silsby is also responsible for the development of programs including chemical dependency, adolescent residential, outpatient programs, and geriatric psychiatry.
Dr. Silsby joined Haven Behavioral in early 2007 to become the Corporate Medical Director and is an integral part of the development of our geriatric treatment programs. His care and dedication to the patients we serve will be instrumental in achieving our goal and vision of being the leader in geriatric psychiatry.
Dr. Silsby is Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, the American Board of Addiction Medicine, and the American Board of Forensic Examiners.
