Haven Senior Horizons Hires New Executive Director
PHOENIX, Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Haven Senior Horizons (http://www.havenbehavioral.com) announced it has hired Kathy Shaw as its new executive director. Haven Senior Horizons provides outpatient and inpatient behavioral health services for the elderly. Haven's team is made up of highly trained professionals specializing in geriatrics. The facility provides intensive services to the elderly experiencing: anxiety; social withdrawal; grief and loss; agitation; aggression; dementia and memory problems; suicidal thoughts; mood swings; psychosis, and alcohol and prescription drug abuse.

As with the rest of the country, healthcare for seniors in the Phoenix area will be a challenge in terms of continuing care, physician coverage and reimbursement.
